Getting started
Just testing this out... trying this blog stuff for the first time...
J.R.- What amazing talent you have. How you have grown, I knew you had talent but OMG! Keep up the great work and keep sharing these awesome pictures. I look forward to seeing your future works.
Hi Jake, I'm mARTa and it's a pleasure to meet such an accomplished artist. Your drawings and paintings are awesome!!!! I love your compositions and the colors you use. I too am a fan of VanGogh whose paintings sometimes look to me like he must have painted them with cake icing! I am a big fan of Monet also and while in Paris I went to see his famous Waterlilies in the oval room of the Orangie museum there. I felt like maybe I was a frog on a lily pad in the middle of the pond! I hope to see more of your work soon!!
I'm a young artist- just starting out. I'm eight years old and I've been drawing since I was 3! I enjoy watercolors, pastels and sketching. My favorite artists are Van Gogh and Monet. My mom is my biggest fan.. She started this blog for me. ENJOY :)

I really like your flowers. I did some flowers kind of like these but they were a little wacky so I called them alien wildflowers.
